Traveling in rural areas in Mongolia in winter is very challenging because it is cold and there is lots of snow. We went to Binder, Khentii Province (in eastern Mongolia) recently to spend some time with a pastor couple who is taking care of a local church there. Binder is about 350 miles from Ulaanbaatar and 100 miles of it is rugged off-road driving. It was a tremendous encouragement to this couple that we cared enough to come to visit and support them and their ministry during winter.  Our fellowship together was sweet.
