Pastoral Care Ministry
Mongolia is geographically centrally located between Russia and China. It has 603,909 square miles (roughly twice the size of Texas), and has a population around 3.5 million people. The land area per capita in Mongolia is the lowest in the world with approximately 6 people per square mile. The weather in Mongolia is considered harsh and is characterized by an extreme continental climate with long, frigid winters and short, mild summers. As a landlocked country with high elevation and mountains, it experiences some of the most dramatic temperature swings in the world.
Many missionaries and leaders in remote areas need pastoral and spiritual care and someone to be with them. They benefit through counseling and someone listening and spending time with them. This is one of our ministry’s heart! We pastorally care for Christian leaders, pastors and missionaries, even if some of them belong to other networks, denominations or are unaffiliated local leaders.
